Obsessed?

On Friday, while preparing for my boy's first birthday party I fell. I totally busted it. I fell from a counter and was going to face plant so I twisted my body and ended up on my left side. Bruised my butt and my back. Guess what the first thing I thought when I landed?
CRAP. I hope I can still work out!
Obsessed much?

OUCH!!! r u okay???
At least your first thought wasn't about using a frozen food as an ice pack & then eating the contents.
So I wouldn't call it obsessed, just a better way of thinking.0 -
i wouldnt say so, i have broken alot of bones and so have my friends.. and the first thing to cross out minds is usually when can we ride again0

I'm still a little hurt. Little achy but thankfully that's the worst injury! Well, that and my pride!0

That's not obsessed. 12 years ago I opted for brain surgery over medications because it was the only option that still permitted me to work out.0

Nah, not even close. If you had done the face plant, broken your nose, sprained an ankle, then hopped on the treadmill and limped along for 30 min with blood streaming down your face --THAT'S obsessed.
You just have your priorities straight.........0 -

No way!! I don't think that's obsessive at all! I would be crushed if I hurt myself and couldn't get my workouts in. They keep me sane!! Glad you're ok!!0 -
Ok, first I have to say: hahahahahahaha!
Not that you fell, though. But because your first thought was "I hope I can still work out."
It reminds me of my friend who is really helping to keep me on track. She's having a runner's knee problem, but still making it to the gym most days of the week to kick my butt. So when she told me she pulled a muscle in her butt yesterday, my first thought was: You better still go to the gym with me tomorrow!
Very glad you are ok, and keep up the good work!0 -
i hope youre ok.. i dont see you as being obsessed.. you just want to keep working on getting healthier.. and that is important.. i always say if you give up on your weight loss, you give up on yourself. hope all is well.. do what you can to keep up with the work youve done thus far..0
