I workout to ChaLEAN Extreme for weights, but you can also find some great routines on bodyrock.tv, mens health mag online, womens health mag online or oxygen mag. There's another topic online by member guardup called 'calling all women lifters" - you might post on that topic and see what they suggest!
  • I wish I had "ideas" period for home workouts. Treadmill is broken and I have very little time to get in a workout at home. Any 10 minute ideas you can throw my way?? And if I hear of anything I'll throw it your way!

I hear ya about not having time. i have to wait until my kids are in bed to workout!
  • Some of my old standbys:

    Abs:
1/2 Reverse Crunches, or Crunches on a Exercise Ball

    Legs and Butt (in order):
Ball Squats (http://tinyurl.com/2aftgyv) OR Sissy Squats (http://tinyurl.com/9qrp4)
    10-12 Lunges each leg
    Calf Raises
Then crawl into fetal position and wimper.

    Arms (Using home free weights):
Overhead Tricep Extentions (or Dips off a couch, etc)
Preacher Curl followed by Concentration curl
  • I found that having a variety of workout dvds really helps. I like the circuit training ones because they really focus on strength training more than any others and I feel like I get a great work out!

    Do you have any?

You can also look up Zuzana's workouts on youtube or her site bodyrock.tv. Her workouts focus on things that you can do at home with minimal equipment. She seems to know her stuff.

I have 30 day shred... I just don't like how I don't burn that many calories! I've been burning 200 on elliptical and then doing my at home strength training workout that i got from youtube, and workout sites. Since i only take in about 1200-1300 calories a day I don't like to burn more than 300 calories a day on exercise :)
  • http://www.bodyrock.tv/ I found it as a result of this website, but it is a blog that has a short (20-30) minute workout. If I give it my all, I burn around 700 calories. It works your whole body, and generally you don't need equipment. She uses the principles of using your own body weight to get you in shape. She posts 4-5 times a week so ya don't get bored and best of all you don't have to come up with your own routine. She also has a list of exercises with pictures so you can see what she is talking about if you would like to add more to your own routine.
