power90 for a long trip?

Hey all
I was wondering how much "stuff" is necessary to do power90 (NOT p90x I'm not ready for that). I am going on a long work trip (2 weeks) and need something that fits easily in my suitcase. I am not a Jillian Michaels fan so 30 day shred isn't appealing (and yes I know that's blasphemous on this site). Last year when I went on this trip I got derailed so I am trying to prepare better for going and being able to do something in the hotel room is a must!
Thank you!!!

I reccommend it. But for the weight part of it - take a resistance band with you instead. Unless you have room for weights.
I admire that you are plannin' on bringin' an workout DVD with you - enjoy your time & workout0 -
I use this program too and I think Power 90 would be ideal for travel. If you don't have resistance bands and don't want to haul weights with you, improvise with a couple large bottles of water or something.
Good luck :flowerforyou:0 -
Good question...........Probably a set of resistance bands instead of dumbbells and a small dvd player to plug into the tv in the room. Then just hope there is sufficient room to do the workout.
I too am doing P90 and will be working out of state for about 5 weeks. Trying to figure out how I will do my workouts as I plan on living out of my 5th wheel.0 -
Thank you! One more question, what size weights does it recommend? I have little 1 lb weights that I wouldn't mind carrying but any bigger than that...
I'll have a laptop to watch the DVDs on and am staying in a fairly big room so as long as I can get the stuff there I shouldn't have a problem0 -
i agree w above posters...i too use power 90 and ALOT of ppl on here dont like jillian....i have that one too, but like power 90 WAAAYYY better...congrats on your determination and have a safe and fun trip!0

A set of resistance bands weighs about a pound (cost $20). You'd have to carry probably 40lbs of dumbells and they are about a $1/lb. The weights in p90 are all based on what you can handle...they don't specify poundages.0 -

I'm glad to know I'm not the only one... I tried to ask this question yesterday and all I was told was to try about a billion Jillian DVDs... I have tried one, she annoyed me, so that advice was well intentioned but not helpful.
I think I'm going with the power90! Thanks everyone :bigsmile:0
