I truly love your effort. Fast food is blasphemy for me but I know that sometimes, you just have no time in the day to prepare something. You could've gone without the fries and the shake! How much ranch dressing did you have?
Glad to finally not see a cinnamon roll in there today. You're getting better at this!0 -
1 table spoon of ranch dressing.
I know the cinnoman rolls were becoming regular but I'm going to lieve them for my husband from now on, since he never gains a pound, I gues somtimes I think If he can eat that than I can too!0 -
Great day! Hooray you!!!0

Making positive changes, yeah for you! Stlll going for the ice cream though :grumble: !
One step at a time - I know - I am happy for you just see room for even better steps.
I'll be nice today and only mention that 4 ounces is a serving of meat. Can't wait to see what steps happen tomorrow (veggies??).
Have a great day!!0 -
I don't want to leave you with another harsh message.
You know you could have made a better choice w/ the dressing, fries, and the shake. You're here, so you know there were healthier options. I went back and read some of your previous posts and I don't think people here should be so harsh on you. You're making an honest effort at positively changing your eating habits. Unhealthy habits are so hard to break. I was raised in a family eating LOADS of fried foods drenched in butter. Sure, it was yummy, but soooo unhealthy and unfriendly to the waistline. I had a VERY hard time just giving up everything cold turkey. I felt like I was going to starve eating like a "rabbit." Slowly, I made substitutions in my diet and I've learned to like things I NEVER thought I would. Some examples: wheat bread instead of white, light salad dressing, light yogurt, 1% milk, fruit instead of candy (I LOVE candy!!!)
Losing weight is never easy. Make small goals for yourself. Tell yourself at 5 pounds, you're going to buy a new shade of lipstick, 10 lbs you're getting a nice pedicure, 15 a new outfit, 20 a facial... make incentives for yourself. Most of all, you have to realize that you REALLY have to want this for YOURSELF!!
You'll get there. Baby steps. That's the way to success. The more you stick with it, the healthier choices you will make. It's good that you're posting your meals. It DOES make you more accountable when you voice the truth to a group of people. Tomorrow may be a better day... you could get the chicken sandwich maybe to go, and take it home and eat some green beans with it (real easy and fast to heat up some canned ones) instead of the fries. If you crave something sweet, eat some fruit. If you make those small substitutions, you're still full when you're finished with the meal, but you've made really good food choices.
I also saw that you are BF your 10 month old, all the more reason to eat healthy, nutrient rich foods. He eats what you eat. Remember not to restrict your calories too much since you are BF. Talk to your physician about your weight loss plan if you haven't already to make sure you follow their recommendations for caloric intake while BF.

You're here, you've made that first step.
Keep up the good work. Let's stay positive!0 -

I know I should through out the ice cream:sad: but I'm not strong enughf,
If you asked me what my faverite food is I would say "Maple walnut ice cream"
I think when I, my husband and I quit smoking almost 2 years ago I got adicted to ice cream instead,
ice cream is now my relaxer!!!
But I will, I'm trying so hard to cut waaaaayyyyyyy down, I know if I want to lose this weight I need to have it maybe only once a week, instead of once a day, or sometimes when im having a realy hard day i'll have it twice a day:sad:
Tomorrow is a new day

Key point here - if you are breastfeeding you definitely need to consider that with your calories!! Be careful cutting too much!! Just substitute you are getting there.0 -
Great Job Beautiful Lady. Keep it up. I'm with you.
The advice in here is such a gift.
I went to a Birthday Party yesterday and could have done better. But I always come back to my home (MFP)
