I have been a part of another site for a while, but like with everything, I needed a little change/addition to keep me motivated. My new big goal is not so much oriented around a loss goal, although I have an idea of what I would like to weight, but just to be healthy and be an example of a healthy, happy, wholesome person for my children. I figure one would lead to the others. I love to cook and food so, for me, this is about lifestyle, being well rounded and balanced in everything, not just a restriction of food and series of grueling workouts until the scale says a number, which will undoubtedly change when met.

    Welcome! I have the same goals in mind, but I do have a weight loss goal also. But the whole point is to get healthy and STAY healthy... not just "diet". I think you will find great support here and find it worth your while! Check out the recipes section for some awesome recipes!
