Is there an option to find friends?

Hi! New to this but I'm loving it. I have friends that are now on this website as well but is there a way to locate them and be connected with them through the community tab?

    I don't think you can from the community tab. However if your friends have posted that is the easiest way to find them and then go to their profile or they can do that too. You can also paste their names into the address and go directly to their profile. It would look like this...
    www.myfitnesspal.com/name
