    I was on a Girl Scout trip last summer and still got up and was in line to get my Harry Potter- finished it before noon and still continued with all of the girl scout acivities.
    My daughter and I have the nerd prize at our local library- we were there 4 times last week- the staff knows to check to see if we have any ordered books in, we have read about 30-40 books since school got out June 4 AND my daughter knows our 10 digit library card numbers by heart.

    I have had a computer since I was 14 and that was 29 years ago.:noway:

    Can Anime Nerds join in the fun?

    -I draw fan art
    -I read fanfiction
    - I went to a convention( I wasn't nerdy enought to dress up)
    - I made my own anime t-shirt( i wore that to the convention)
    -I put anime refences in my homework
    -I post in a couple of diffent forums

    Oh yeah I also made a guest comic on a web fancomic I read^_^

    Am I makeing any sense to anyone?

    we considered past D&D character names for our kids, but went with norwegan names instead.

    did anyone else get the new release of the D&D books, version 4?

    - Can identify the intire Star trek episode and explain it to you in detail by seeing 15 sec. of the start of the show.

    - I quilt

    - I crotchet

    - rewatch all 6 Star Wars episodes about every 2 months.

    - LOVE Harry Potter

    - I read books downloaded to my blackberry.

    (I graduated to Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay instead of D&D...4.0 made me cry a little when I heard it was simplified and MMO'ified :sad: )

    I'm not an official nerd but a widely recognized eccentric....can I join the team? I do exhibit nerdish qualities....love all things Star Wars and Star Trek, I quilt and embroider, am a computer geek wannabe, love monty python, love big band and swing music and will stay up 'til 4am to watch a classic film, especially a musical......

    It is sad, we're going to stick with 3.5. 4.0 is not that great.

    Hubby is more the WoW player than the D&D anymore.

    It is sad, we're going to stick with 3.5. 4.0 is not that great.

    Hubby is more the WoW player than the D&D anymore.


    I lost myself to WoW also, but luckily I got burnt out after 3 level 70's.

    I am currently running around Age of Conan, and I'm having a great time.

    Husband only has 2 lvl 70's and he is taking our 11 yr old daughter through some of the game. though, not with the VOIP on, that gets a bit much.

    I'm left to me own devices though, usually that means reading, and now MFP.!!

    Yep, he loves to get her involved. His next big plan is to convert the garage to a wrestling room for the twins. He wrestled through college and the twins aren't even two and are wrestling already.

    Is wrestling nerdy enough?

    Thats OK!!!! My brother used to play D&D, so I kind of get it!!!

    Yeah, I don't know if I am bright enough to be a nerd....so more of a dork or geek like J.....Man!! I hate being like J!!!!! :grumble:
