I am looking to start working with a trainer, but am having a hard time finding someone I feel confident with. Any suggestions or tips on finding the right person for me???

For some reason I cant invite you as friends. Invite me, I'm a trainer and might have some insight on finding one that fits your style.

Find the most obnoxious man who is nothing like you as possible - your annoyance with him during the session will fuel you to have a great workout!
No seriously - most trainers will let you work out with them for a session before you committ. Decide if you feel better with a man or a woman, they both have their positives and negatives.
My trainer (trainer Tyler) is a cute young thing with 10% body fat ... he does not even begin to understand what it is like to be me. Tyler gets that when I say I cant I really cant... because he has learned that I rarely say that. He watches how much effort I put in, and knows when I am full of you know what.
Even though we have nothing in common, Tyler is a great foil in my weight loss journey... and besides I KNOW I am smart than him, so it gives me the edge!0
