Looking for artichoke recipes

hey all, new here. i'm interested in using artichokes in my diet, but I have never cooked with them. anyone tell me how to cook them and some good recipes for them.

look on foodnetwork.com under sandra lee's recipes she seems to do alot of stuff with artichokes and they look super yummy!
