Can anybody give me some exercises that target and tone, as well as give me some definition to my legs? Whether it's certain type of strength training or cardio, please..I need some help here.

Lunges and Squats HANDS DOWN!0

Heavy squats and lunges and deadlifts. Lots of varieties out there. Google them if you need to and put together an awesome leg workout. Good luck.0

Lunges and Squats HANDS DOWN!
I agree. Also, I found that walking briskly, and sometimes uphill...helps too.0 -

spin class is great for the calves and legs in general. If I had the definition of my calves everywhere else in my body, I would be very happy.0

Level 1 of 30 Day Shred has lots of leg work. Lunges, squats, side lunges, Jump roping (works my calves). If you want something to do at home, it would probably be worth your $9 and 20min a day to buy it0

I started using the elliptical a few weeks ago and I can't believe the difference in my legs!!! I have muscle where I didn't before, I LOVE it!!0

Lunges and Squats HANDS DOWN!
Yep this is it - I go to a Body Pump class where we use a weighted bar for squats and lunges. My legs are getting so strong.0 -

My legs have gone from soft to rock hard in 3 months with spin class, and toning class. My fave exercises are where you l ay on the floor with knees bent and raise your pevis as high as you can. It targets your butt and thighs and even your belly.
Squats, lunges are also crazy good and our class instructor had us sit on the ball (or you can use a chair) and write the alphabet with out toes in the air infront of us each leg one time. Sounds easy but you will feel the burn lol
Spin class is ridiculous for leg tone and muscle. Love it.0 -
I actually have the Shred. I'm just at the point where I'm bored with it. I've had it for over a year, and agree that she does offer some good exercises.0

If I had only one exercise I could do, it would be "reverse lunges". Great on your quads, glutes, hips and "back friendly". I've made great progress with this exercise. It adds great strength and definition to your legs.0

I read the comments about the Brazil Butt work out so I googled it and now I really want to try it. How much is it for the whole package w/the booty resistance band?0

If I may, exactly what parts of your legs do you want to concentrate on?
Inner thighs, lower booty, and shins; lunges.(hands down the best for crafting a nice firm butt)
Outer thighs, calves, and upper bum; squats.
Back of thigh, and behind; straight leg dead lifts.(also a great excersize if you bend and reach as part of your normal day)
Front inner and outer thigh, calves, and butt; hack squats.
Entire leg; dead lifts.
Entire body;dead lifts. My entire routine is focused around dead lifts.0 -
Run this made my legs super lean.
Or walking hills.0 -
...I should add that 'target, and tone' is a slightly over hyped phrase. One must first have a fair muscle base before targeting and toning works.
The exercises I listed work the entire body, but put extra loads on the regions specified in my post.0
