I was just wondering if anyone knew if walking can cause muscle strains in lower abd---have alot of pain and cramping in lower abd when I walk and sometimes stabbing when not active. I know it is not female related--don't have anything for it to be that. wouldn't think it would be a bladder infection b.c I drink 120 oz of water a day. Any ideas???

Don't rule out bladder infections or a UTI. I drink a 100+ ounces of water a day. That's pretty much the only thing I drink, except one cup of coffee in the morning. I went to the doctor a month ago for chronic fatigue no other symptoms at all and she told me that I had one of the worst UTIs she has ever seen.
Muscle aching, tightness could mean a strained muscle but if you're having persisten cramping and acute pain you need to go see a doctor.0 -
I was just asking my MFP friends about this too. It feels very similar to TOM cramps, but that's definitely not it. Mine's predominantly on the left side, deep down by the pelvis. It's a dull ache that (fortunately) hasn't gotten sharp yet. I've had mine a couple of days and I don't think it's gas-related either.0
