Protein after workout??

Just wondering what kind of protein the women out there take after a workout. I have been doing Jillian Michaels Shred and other dvds. I am just not sure if I should need a protein or protein shake after a workout or not? Need some advice:) THanks!!

I like to drink an 8oz glass of lowfat chocolate milk after a workout. It has a great balance of sugar, fat and protein. The sugar helps the protein get absorbed readily into your muscles.
If I've had a really long or intense workout, I will generally drink a whey protein shake instead.0 -

I use ISO Sensation 93 vanilla bean from gnc. High quality protien no add crap. I use it as a snack or after a workout. Either way you should be eating something after you workout with a protien and carb0 -
I use Isagenix shake. It is extremely nutrient dense, and has over 90 trace minerals. The minerals are what makes it different. Plus it's undenatured whey protein (organic, no antibiotics or hormones which are in our food to a ridiculous degree) It's also cold processed. All of these particular things are very important. (It tastes great too)0

Jillian has a Vanilla Whey protein shake, 100 calories per serving. I read about it and Whey is better than Soy protein for workouts. You can buy it @ Walmart for about $10.00. It says right on the container to use immediately after a workout.0
