Just thought I would share.
I started interval training on the treadmill.

There are other plans, just google it.
But mine is:
*Week 1* 30 minutes
Walk at 3.0 pace for 4 minutes and jog for 1 minute at 4.0 pace.
*Week 2* 30 minutes
Walk at 3.0 pace for 3 minutes and jog for 2 minutes at 4.0 pace.
I'll just increase the jog each week.
The incline will always be at 2 (unless that gets too easy).
- "The combination of slow and fast running increases your metabolic rate, causing you to burn more calories. And your metabolic rate stays higher long after the workout, resulting in continued fat burn and effective weight loss."
I also bought Billy Blanks Tae Bo. I have his Ultimate Bootcamp Dvd and I like it. It's tough though.
The one I bought: http://www.walmart.com/ip/14673681
The one I already had: http://www.walmart.com/ip/4172023

I just recently got a treadmill from a friend, we traded equipment...anyhow, I am not in front of it right now, but the settings are things like "slow" and "fat burn" but every treadmill workout I find seems to use mph and I am just not sure how to figure out if I am at the correct rate of speed...any suggestions?0

also, add me if you'd like!0

So it doesn't give you speed levels at all? Do #'s appear on the screen when you choose 'slow' or 'fast'?0

I'll have to look at it when I get home from work...I'll let you know later! I don't think it does though!0
