P90x- pros/cons?

Ok so someone recently suggested I try this program. When I checked the website, I was blown away with not only the cost but the idea of it. It seemed to me like a body building routine. I don't want bulky muscles- I just want to lose weight and get healthy. I'm more of a walking kind of gal than a long distance runner or marathoner. So, I'm asking all those who are using it or have tried it to give some pros and cons. I really just need to know if this program is right for me...
