Food Steamer

So I got a steamer for Christmas, and I have yet to use it. I was wondering if anyone has any good recipes or dinner ideas that I could use this steamer for. All I can think of is just basic steaming of things like veggies, rice and fish...I want some variety

    Did it come with a cook book? Sometimes new gagets will have some ideas given in a little mini cookbook. Other than the typical veggies and such, I would not know what to suggest. Maybe Google steamed recipes?

    You can cook eggs, pasta, meat, and probably several other things in it. I use mine every morning to cook my oatmeal in. Cooks it perfectly and I don't have to stir a pot on the stove or watch for it to explode in the microwave. :)
