body fat

im not understanding the whole body fat % thing mine is 21.8% is that a good thing or bad ?????????

    If accurate, 22% is not so bad. You are approaching average.
  • i just went on a machine at the gym after a work out it done my height weight etc

    yeah, that's probably not going to be very accurate. Especially after a workout.

    those machines rely on hydration.

    I like the calipers system over a household scale or machine. The "egg" you sit inside is the ultimate in accuracy, I'm told, but not very convenient.

    Depends on gender and age too. 21.8 is actually quite low for 30 year old woman for example.

    Yes, for women percentage norms are much higher.
