Stay busy!

I have found that the busier I am the less I think about food and why I am not eating all the fatty delicious stuff! Seriously, when do you think about food most? Either when you are sitting around and have time to dwell on your diet or when you are around food directly.

I have worked on staying busy and it works great! You actually have to stop yourself and remember to eat!

The hardest time for me is when I am cooking for the family. The old me would nibble and taste, eat dinner, then eat what the kids didn't finish and then end the night with a little something. All that adds up ... and that's only dinner time! I cringe when I think of what I would put in my mouth, almost unconciously! So many calories!!
