No need to panic. We can only learn from our experiences. You are likely to be more careful about what you drink next time :) Drink water to balance the sugar high. :)

Not stress about it. It happened. Diet soda is actually not that great for you.

Suck it up, what's done is done. You'll do better next time! :-)

BTW, I think diet soda is harmful because of all the chemicals, you should try mixing 1/2 juice and 1/2 sparkling water.

It was a better choice for 'natural' soda than the chemical filled junk that is called 'diet' soda. It was the best bad choice you could have made! (that is tough to phrase in a good way, don't fret!)

If you're hungry, eat up. If not, 400 is fine to leave. Try to ignore the sugar, it seems like you don't have this overage of sugar often.

Don't get bogged down with numbers - you'll become obsessive! We're talking about ONE can of fizzy drink here. Try and see the big picture. ONE can is NOT going to make you suddenly put on 10lbs. Calm down!

The best way to avoid this confusion in the future is to stop drinking soda all together. It's crap and is not the fuel your body needs. Best of luck to you!
  • There is no reason to worry or beat yourself up over it. One soda isn't going to destroy your work or put you on a path to keep gaining weight. So you have a few extra grams of sugar and calories one day. eh. I think your body can handle it.

If you have ever drank a bit too much alcohol in your life having a night out then you would know that did more damage to your body than this soda would on your diet.

Relax and realize tomorrow is another day.

Interesting. I think I'll try it!
