We're having take away Chinese in the office for lunch.

Will I be able to resist?? I really do hope so!!

How do other's get through having temptation litterally under their noses?

Mind over matter...minute on your lips a lifetime on your hips...and just the overall good feeling you should have that you could do it!

Willpower my friend...although, sometimes I am weak, very weak :( But, you can have steamed chicken and broccoli with spicy garlic sauce on the side and it really isn't too bad for you. Low calories. We had it at work last week too and I ate half for lunch and half for dinner. Good Luck and we're behind you whatever you decide!

Make your coworkers jealous---besides they are all going to be worthless an hour after they eat from that nasty feeling of having eaten way too much---and that MSG? Ugh! Who needs it.

You can make this work - we have Chinese take out often and it never breaks the calorie bank unless you fail to plan for it. Look up the restaurant's nutrition guide online. If you can't find it - call the restaurant and ask them to fax you one. Chances are good if it's a national brand like Panda Express that it's already here in the MFP food database. Read the nutrition guide ahead of time and figure out what works for you - then enjoy your lunch!

Imagine something totally gross happened to the food. A sneeze on it or something even worse. Picture it in total detail till you just about start to feel sick. I find it can cut down on cravings.
If you do indulge just stick with small portions.

    Thanks guys!

I've planned my day and I really don't 'want' Chinese - BUT when it is here I hope I have the will power to resist!!

I have my lunch with me (chicken slices, fresh salad and two mini pitta breads!!) which I know will keep me full for the rest of the afternoon.

This will be my first time of ever saying no to Chinese LOL (especially free Chinese!!)
