Where's the chocolate? Or is that the Carob powder? Have never heard of that before!
  • These sound amazing! I can't wait to make these this weekend!
  • I just tried making these, and they are delicious! I also made a batch using cocoa powder instead of carob powder since cocoa powder is only 10 cal/serving compared to 20 cal/serving of carob powder. The cocoa powder ones were just as yummy!

    Bump!
  • Bump! Yummmm :-)
  • I didn't measure out the water exactly, so I'd say just mix in some water until the batter is thick and gooey not runny.

Ya I think you could use apple sauce instead of the apple but haven't tried it
  • I can't wait to make these. My eldest son just went "vegan" and I can't wait to have him try these!
  • I used 3/4 cup water and mixed it with the apples when I put them in the blender to puree them.

UPDATE: Okay so I baked these with the ingredients I had on hand. I used 1 full cup of unsweetened apple sauce, and I used unsweetened cocoa powder. Oh, and 3 spenda packets as my sweetener. When cooked this way, they are just okay. I might add an extra sweetener packet next time. However, an 8th of the pan is pretty generous which is nice. :) I put in my ingredients and came up with 50 cal per serving. SOOOO my plan is to use them with something else to make them yummier. Tonight we will sandwich them with two graham cracker quarters (half a sheet total) and a couple of marshmallows and microwave them. Tomorrow we will try them w/ half a tablespoon of peanut butter spread on top. Both of those options leave you with dessert for around 100 cal or a little over for the s'more. Hope these ideas help someone!!

Do you think using Stevia would work? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?
