I am trying to make more meals at home but I need something that I can plug all my ingrediants into tell it the serving sizes and it will tell me how many calories and all that are in it.
Does something like this exist? Is there an app for that? (couldn't resist) Can I have a link? Thank you!

You should use the recipe function on MFP. You enter in all your ingredients and that will tell you the total calories and calories per serving in a given recipe. However you have to determine the serving size. If you are following a recipe and have not really deviated from it, just use that serving size. You can also look at the food and see how much it is (and see the total calories you have from the entire recipe) and figure out what is a reasonable serving size.
Sometimes this may entail weighing or measuring the entire amount of what you have made (easy for soups and chilis). It depends on how accurate you want to be and what you are making.
This can be time consuming, but I do this for most of the dinners I make.0 -
