Hello all Im michelle and new to fitnesspal. I signed up at the beginning of the month abd now decided its time to come back and get this life change started.. Im married and have a 9 year old son and have a cake business that im working on getting off the ground. Thing is i never took the weight off after my son i actually continued to gain more and now im at my heaviest ever and i am so ashamed of myself and dont even like to look at myself in the mirror. I so desperatly wanna get back to 150lbs but i jsut dont seem to have the motivation and im hoping that this site and community will help me with that ! Ive heard such good things about this place... I know what i need to do and my plans to do it are wonderful but i jsut dont have the motivation. I want to lose about 150 lbs ... it kills me even to admit im that heavy. But its time for me now time to get back to feeling sexy and beautiful and being able to run and hike and be the active mother and wife i wanna be

I know exactly how you feel about wanting your life back. I am at my heaviest (well I was until I got on this site). I completely changed my diet around. I am eating all whole grains and deli style sandwhich meats, fruits, veggies, nutrigrain bars, special k bars, and yogurts. I made a new tea. I mixed 2 family size regular black tea bags with two family size green tea bags and put 1 and half cups of sugar in it. I only drink about 2-8 oz. glasses of it a day though. I enter my food in my diary on here before I eat it to know what I can have and insure that I do not go over my daily calories. I have been using wii fit and wii active to exercise. I do both in the same day and today I added inline skating outside to my daily exercise. I have lost 14lb. I know that you will be able to do it too. There are great tasting foods out there that aren't bad for you. Oh and I switched my meat to mainly chicken, fish, and ground turkey which helps a lot. Good Luck!! add me as a friend if you'd like.0

Welcome Michelle! My oldest, my son, is 9 and my daughter is 4. I've been all over the place with my weight, (more up the scale than down) but I'm determine to it do it right this time and see it go down and STAY down. My family keeps telling me (the family baker) that I ought to open my own cupcake shop...so I think it's pretty awesome you are following your dream of creating your own cake business! If you'd like a friend, please feel free to add me and we can take this road together! Who knows, with support it just may be a piece of cake!. Sorry, I couldn't resist.
Best wishes,

Constantly looking in the mirror and saying OMG YOUR SO DISGUSTING!.. I finally decided NO MORE of this self loathing and putting myself on the backburner, whats wrong with me coming first for once.. NO MORE EXCUSES. Im with you 100% Michelle. My workout equipment yours to use any time. BIG LOVES!!0
