put on weight

Bummed out! Put on 3 pounds this week....need motivation. Has been my birthday week I suppose but really frustrated and angry at myself for doing this. Didn't want another birthday being fat and unhappy with myself!

    Give yourself a break!! Your doing fine. Your in this for the long haul and sometimes there are ups and then there are downs. Key is to look how far you have come! You need to change your mind set. Sometime we are our worst enemies. Rather then betting yourself up do something you enjoy. Go for a walk if weather permits its. YOU CAN DO THIS!!!!!!! We are her to help.

    birthday weeks are freebie weeks!! haha just accept that you're going to eat cake and other yum stuff and then make sure you go back to being good! it would be sad if you didnt get any cake on your birthday :(

    Zoe, try to chill and not over-scrutinise the weigtht part otherwise you'll constantly be worrying over small amounts. The main thing is that you keep going with whatever changes you've made, or extra exercise/hobbies you're now doing. Everyone has a week where the put on a bit. But there's actually a good chance that its just a natural fluctuation in body weight (water weight, etc)

    The thing I used to do though was see that rise, get completely hung up on it and ruin any good work by going back to old ways.
    Now I just have to take the weight fluctuations as part of the overall process.

    Keep at it and i'm sure you'll look great for your birthday, if not already!!!
