Are they worth it? What do you recommend? I think it might help keep me motivated

I love mine it s a polar FT4. I wouild not say it keeps me motivated, but I like knowing the accuracy of my calorie burn as well as being able to see where my heart rate is.

They are the only way to know how hard your working and how many calories you are burning. I use Sport Line Duo and have also used Polar. I believe the their popular model is FT4

I think a heart rate monitor w/chest strap is a must have. I no longer have to guess whether I'm in my zone now and it calculates my calories burned as close to accurate as possible. I have the Polar FT4. Wrist watch w/chest strap.

It is sooo worth it!!!! I got mine just a few days ago.. and was relieved to know I was working out in my zone, and sometimes over my zone, also made me realize I am burning a little less calories than I thought but not alot, however I know I am working in my zone so I am doing my best!!!
Worth the investment and the ones with a chest strap are more accurate!!
