...is a funny word. But anyway, what's the deal with them? I tried reading online about them but only found good things, so why haven't they caught on with everyone? Am I missing something? They taste great (if you like the whole tangy hot feeling in your mouth) and are virtually calorieless. I think I'm definitely missing something, fill me in?

I love radishes:love: , they are just hard to find around here in the Winter months, at least at a reasonable price.

Who has been saying bad things about them??

I love them. I slice them up in salads or I eat them as a snack or side dish plain and raw.

Slice them into thin "chips" and enjoy a crunchy low calorie snack.

Walmart and my Kroger store(Frys) always seem to have them. Walmart often has the pre-cut ones saves work and don't really cost a ton more than normal. Sometimes the bunches with leaves go on sale 2 for $1 or even less.

Love and grow 'em. They're like Tomatoes to me. once they aren't available ripened on the plant and in the sun, they're crap and I find something else to eat.

Really?? 50¢?? I have to find a Walmart!!
  • I love them too. I can eat a half of a bag for a snack. If my salt intake is low for the day I treat myself to some salt. But I never even thought about growing my own, I am definitely going to do that this spring.
