Was looking for some advice---I've been doing a lot of cardio lately which of course, makes you achy.

I miss doing yoga, but don't have the time or money to do classes----does anyone have any good suggestions for Yoga DVDs that I could do? I also have Netflix instant as well if anyone has any suggestions that are on there. I'm not looking for an intense yoga session--just a little bit strengthening and relaxing.

  • Jillian Michaels has an awesome yoga DVD called Yoga Meltdown. It comes with 2 different workouts to choose from.

Anything from Gaiam is also really good. Rodney Yee is one of my favs and he has several out there. I also love Cardio Burn Yoga by Patricia Moreno - it will really work you!

I found some good ones on you tube when I was on the road and did yoga in the hotel room...just do a google search and you'll find some. Also there are free ones through my cable provider (comcast On Demand).

    Good luck

Guess I should qualify this as I do have experience with yoga---I did two semesters of classes at my college. Not an expert by any means, but I am familiar with poses, etc.

Jillian Michaels has a good Yoga DVD. And, if you can put up with her, Denise Austin has a good one for "Buns". My library actually had a few, you may want to check yours.

Yeah, I found one that I like on my OnDemand. But, it's more of a stretching Yoga as opposed to a strenuous one. I do it on my off days.
