I don't know if it's the norm, but I lost weight in my feet. I used to wear a wide width but now I am a narrow. Plus, I had to buy new dress shoes because the old pairs just slid and flopped on my feet...I'll take it, though--it means success!!!

When I lost 88 pounds (the last time) I had to buy shoes 1-1.5 sizes smaller!

I think you can. I have some shoes that fit a lot better now that I am 50 lbs lighter than when I bought them. I have a cute pair of summer shoes that I can't wait to try back on. They were snug last summer so I am hoping for that perfect fit this summer.

    Short answer .. Yes.

I had SEVERAL pairs of shoes I had to get rid of (both lace up and slip ons) because they didn't fit anymore because of the weight I have lost.
