for me, one of the greatest pleasures in life is getting to sleep in!

another is cleaning off a cluttered surface to make it look pretty again.

one more is snuggling on the couch with my hubster, watching a movie.

...running in the sunshine, reading a book with no interruptions, hugs from my children...

what are some simple things that make you happy?

    looking at a fresh pedicure (maybe not so simple) also sleeping in, a bloody mary with brunch, and fireworks-it always makes me happy to see fireworks!

    I love the coffee in the morning, cuddling with my hubby, kisses from my puppy, hugs from my neices and nephews, a nice pinot noir, the smell of spring, the smell of line dried towels, my heart rate monitor

    I love the end of a long day where I worked hard and to good result. If I have the calories left, a beer makes it all the better.

    I also truly enjoy a sincere compliment.

    :heart: sitting next to a running brook...that is so relaxing to me. As is just sitting outside reading a good book on a beautiful day :)

    Walking. Down the trail, all by myself. Totally relieves any stress.

    Watching my women interact. I kind of like to be just outside looking in. Makes me happy when they are chatting, playing or whatever. Makes me happy.

    Cooking for someone I care about.

    Cooking while listening to music- uninterrupted. Reading..uninterrupted. Bathing- uninterrupted.
    Basically quiet time to do things I enjoy ..uninterrupted. That's just at a premium right now since I have young children.
    With my children: quiet insightful conversations!!! Melt my heart like pink sugar lava of absolute adoration and love for them!

    Coming home after a long stressful day at work...locking the front door...putting on my pjs...pouring a glass of wine and unwinding with some good trash tv. Ahhhhh, I may just do that tonight!

    Leaving work at the end of the day especially on Friday afternoons.
    Taking a long hot bubblebath while listening to music.
    Sleeping in on Saturday mornings.
    Smelling lilacs.
    Walking barefoot in the sand.
    Admiring a rainbow.
    Laughing.
    Getting hugs from the grandkids.
