I've been dieting off and on since I was probably 12. Not finding ANYTHING that works for ME. I do believe every diet works if you stick to it. I just can't find one that I like that I want to stick to. I started MyFittnessPal a few weeks ago, and so far am impressed. I sometimes feel like I'm doing it wrong. I guess I am expecting serious weight loss like 4 pounds a week haha. So I get discouraged VERY easily! Having a daughter I want to change my life. She is 14 months old and is a total handful. So I want to lose weight to be able to play and chase her around without wanting to DIE. My bike gets here today with my baby trailer. Thing is, it freakin snowed AGAIN, living in Utah blows sometimes. Right now I am doing the Gazelle for about 30 minutes a day, and sweat like a *kitten* in church doing it. I feel like I should be doing more, but I can honestly say I have ZERO time until she goes to bed. Also, I do like time for ME outside of working out, and still trying to get to bed early so I can start a healthy and good nights sleep. I need some motivation!! HEELLPP!!!

You can do it, just stick with it. It will come off. I too have tried every kind of diet there is and I agree most of them work if you stick to them. This one is the easiest one I have found. Not only is it easy to track calories and exercise but it has alot of support. Dont give up just keep doing what you are doing and add in extra exercise when you can , enjoy your bike.
  • Thanks so much:) I do find it alot easier being on MFP because there is so much support :)

    Welcome!

You are doing a great job! Slow and steady weight loss indicates a true lifestyle change. You want this weight to stay off forever. In the scope of forever, what's the hurry? Answer: there is no hurry. Even 1lb lost each week is 50lbs lost in a year. Imagine if you'd started a year ago? EXACTLY!

Eating healthy foods you enjoy and moving your body by participating in activities you love that do not feel like 'work' will make this easy and fun.

    YOU CAN DO IT!!!
