    Hey Ashley,

I also track my sugar intake and find it difficult keeping under my daily limit. It's more about making small changes for instance I love drinking tea usually 3 times a day and that's already 6 teaspoons of sugar i've consumed just from drinking! Now i enjoy my morning tea with breakfast but after that i switch to green tea which has no sugar. Maybe you could replace your jelly toast and maybe spread an avacado over instead or some tuna. Hope this helps, good luck

I don't worry about (or count) the natural sugars found in whole foods like fruit & milk. It's refined sugars (a.k.a added sugars) that need to be limited.

The sugars that are tracked here include natural sugars. There is no way to separate them out. I think Mike probably did it so people who were diabetic could accurately watch their sugars since all affect blood insulin.

I only worry about added sugar. Dairy and fructose (fruits) are natural sugars. You will have a much more balanced diet with dairy and whole fruit included. There are many nutrients in fruit and dairy that are hard to replace otherwise.

Just try to keep your ADDED sugars below 30g.
