I just joined this website about a week ago and am so impressed with it. I love that I can keep track of everything and just found the posting board. It's amazing how many people are on here and how much support there is. I have 2 weddings to go to this year, one that I am the maid of honor and the other that will have people I haven't seen in 10-15 years. My goal is 40 lbs. but I don't know if that is realistic for the time I have. I would be happy with 20 lbs. lost for the first wedding in May. I have been doing really well on my calories and eating the right healthy things. I have been doing the Jillian Michaels 30 day shred for the last 4 days as well, but have gained 3 lbs in the last week, since I have been on the site. I am hoping it's muscle gained and tomorrow or the next day the weight will start dropping off!!

Howdy!
I read on here (as I'm new too!) that it is not unusual to gain a few lbs before you start losing it. It has something to do with getting your metabolism fired up. And that it can especially happen if you are not used to taking in many calories. So hang in there and keep doing a little everyday and it will start melting off.0 -
Welcome!! I bet the current gain is just you building muscles. I actually got the 30 Day Shred tonight and plan to start tomorrow.0
