you have eaten all of your meals for the day and you have a large number of remaining calories? i don't want to eat junk food late at night, but if i ate healthy stuff, i would have to eat every fruit and veggie in my fridge!!!
i find myself in this position a lot because i don't want to eat too many calories during the day in case i end up eating a lot of calories at dinner, but then when i eat a low calorie dinner, i am stuck.
any tips i would appreciate, thanks in advance

This happens to me a lot.......I see where some members recommend a smoothie. But I don't worry about it anymore.0

I had this problem a lot too! One member suggested logging and planning meals in advance. This way you can key in what you will have for dinner so you don't have to go hungry all day and end up with extra calories left. Hope this helps!0

I find it easiest to start my day at 5 PM. So I advance the calendar and put in dinner first. I find that the hardest meal to control and I find the other two meals will be larger or smaller based upon what I did for dinner the night before. Also before when I ran out of calories early in the evening and didn't get anymore until morning I had a very hard time. But now when I run out after lunch I can make it through knowing that I get to start again at 5.0

I always have this problem becaue I go to the gym 7-8 P and some days I burn like 400 calories, but tonight I did 900... so it's 10 PM I just got home and ate some bacon and eggs and toast and I have 700 calories to go! But it is hard to judge in advance because working from home with a 1 yr old my days hardly EVER go as planned...
Last night I did a big bowl of fruit with extra fat free whipped creme. Peanut Butter is a good one. Lots of healthy calories in a small amount. And I won't even get everyone started back on the Nutella topic... yum...0 -

Hi
I'm the opposite and usually eat too much during the day leaving very few cals for dinner
Back to your question....how about some almonds and string cheese...(200cals)
OR pb sandwich or grilled cheese0 -

Yeah, I tend to try and plan out my dinner before hand....log it in and then go from there. Or I will just focus on leaving a certain amount for dinner, knowing what I usually tend to have.
Also, just try to add a little more to each meal. That can help! Like add a banana or yogurt to whatever you are eating for breakfast, and do the same for lunch..that way you are getting an additional 100 cals with each meal, so by the end of the day, you are caught up a little more.0 -
oatmeal and plan ahead, I agree with everyone above0

Nature's Own Whole Wheat toast (only 50 cal. per slice) and a little bit of peanut butter.0
