burning fat.. not just calories

I am wondering what are some good exercise routines for the gym that burn the fat.. not just the calories.
I know that doing different intervals on the treadmill or elliptical can help with that..
but are there any different or more interesting ideas to help with the fat burning??

    Mix it up, try a pump class or switch machines every 15-20 min. Treadmill, stepper, rowing machine, spin bike. Good luck
