Hi everyone

It was bound to happen....this is the first time since I've been on this site..I've gained
I've slipped up in the past (nothing terrible) but thankfully, never gained
Since my dd had surgery 11-12 days ago the stress and lack of sleep, has really gotten to me...
I've been going over my cals a little here and there...I'm still walking daily and even bumped up the speed on my treadmill and increased my time...but I gained 1.5 pounds
I know it isn't the end of the world, I just don't want to slip back into bad habits and have 1.5 pounds turn into 3 pounds and on and on

Aww, I'm sorry about your gain. I know how you must feel. I weigh in every Tuesday morning, and every Monday night I'm all stressed out that I'm going to gain. So far I haven't, but, like you said, it's bound to happen. Hopefully I (and YOU) will just take it with a grain of salt and keep on trying our hardest!
So don't let it get you down, ok?!!!

    Hey Kim!

I know it's hard! When the stresses of life happen, it can definitely get in the way of our "healthy lifestyle", simply because we just aren't as focused on US at the time and our mind is going a million different directions.

Just know you have the support here if you ever need to talk or VENT! We can help you get through the hard stuff!

Also, the fact that you're accountable is a good sign! You are aware of why you had a gain and can make the changes necessary to get on track!

These things will happen and we will all get "off track" at various times. Just don't let them beat you and win! You are worth being as healthy as you can and feeling great about yourself at ALL times!

    Good luck!!!!!!

Just get back on the horse  You can lose that quickly if you stay focused... Don't let it get ya down. I'm sure everyone goes through it once or twice or ummmmm a few more times throughout their weight loss/lifestyle change. I know I have...:grumble: Keep up the good work and don't let it bother you...use it to motivate you...:drinker:

    Thanks ladies

I'm feeling stronger and more motivated/focused today....dd is on the road to recovery and slept through the night and actually ate some b-fast (I think I was eating for both of us)

Hang in there Kimber. We all understand. If you are weighing every day it can make you crazy. I've done that and it makes my routine harder. Sodium, water, stress, menses for the ladies, etc all play a role in daily scale numbers and I decided to do it once weekly, same time, same lack of clothing.

    Cheers!

    Thanks Tim :)

I was initially weighing myself weekly but when I hit my goal, I started weighing myself every 2 weeks...
I didn't want to be a slave to the dreaded scale but I think I need to jump on periodically to keep me in line..

    Thanks again everyone, Kim
