Just wondering if anyone has just start couch to 5k this week? I started Day 1 today and found it challenging and hope to create a support group for people who are just starting so whoever wants to learn to run, this is for us! Instead of doing the runs over 3 days as recommended i am going to do it for 5 so i can give my body more time to adjust to running.

If anyone has just started and would like some support feel free to join me on my quest to become a runner.

I don't know how that thing is COUCH to 5k - I tried day one and it dang near killed me!! I seriously don't see how you can go from nothing to Day 1. I need the couch to Day 1 program for about 4 weeks first I think! I hope you fare better than me! I hope to start on this again when I'm a little fitter.
  • One of my friends told me about this literally less than a half hour ago and I am thinking about starting this.

I just got home from doing week 2 day 3... It got easier than day 1 week 2. However I am not ready for week 3 so I am going to do week 1 and 2 again to see if my endurace build up for week 3. So far it has been enjoyable. I hope you enjoy it. I was a bit scared, but with the support here I know I can do it!! And if I can... Well you know the rest...
