Met my first mini-goal!

8 lbs down! i've been on mfp for just shy of 1 month and it's the first time i've ever been motivated enough to keep going. i'm loving exercise and i'm feeling so good!
i joined after the first week of a family biggest loser challenge when I was feeling really depressed that I wasn't losing weight (but instead, gaining it). The support, motivation, and advice on here from such wonderful people has completely change my attitude about getting in shape from hopelessness to excitement. I've got about 90 lbs left to go to reach my goal weight, but I know I can do it now.
looking forward to meeting my next mini-goal, and the next, and the next... and ultimately reaching my goal weight.

Way to go! Just take it one day at a time. It was really hard for me to get my snacking under control and learn portion size/control. Now I'm 28 lbs lighter and it seems like it dropped off so quickly (even though it didn't). I have about 20 lbs left but I'm going to keep chug a lugging along just like you. Words can't even express how it feels to regain a positive self esteem.0
