On my work-out days, I drink shakes. Muscle Milk Light. Many flavors. 195 calories for the shake. I think they taste better than the other brands I have tried. Do make sure you get the "Light" version as the regular is 40% more calories and fat.

I use Dymatize Elite, chocolate flavor. It's a low carb, low fat, powder, and it tastes pretty good.0

Optimum Nutrition 100% gold standard natural whey. Great stuff!! only 130 calories 2gm fat and 24 gm protein!0

I use GNC Amplified Wheybolic 60, but I want to investigate other choices too!0

I use olympian labs pea protein. It has a high biological value than other types of protein (body uses it better). It's also lower in calories than the whey's, soy's and rice's. Only down side is that it does taste like peas! LOL I mask it with strawberries and a banana.
You'll probably need to experiement a little. The pre-made ones made me sick to my stomach.
Good luck!!0 -
Nutribiotic's Chocolate Rice Protien Powder....i put a tablespoon in my coffee, it's only 60 calories, and it's great for after lunch or dinner when your meal didn't quite fill you up as much as you would have liked and you're snooping around the kitchen thinking about snacks or dessert0

Impact whey protein! vanilla is the only one I've tried, and it tastes great. they sell it in 1kg pacs, as well as samples, so usefull for finding out what flavours you like. and only 176 cal a portion (20 or so g of protein). Good stuff. And the cheapest on the market! I think website is www.myprotein.com, but you might have to google it.0

I use Shaklee Cinch powder. I think its pretty good, its made from all natural ingredients.
The only downside is you have to order online and can't find it in a supermarket.0 -
I drink casien protein throughout the day and before bed, its very slow digesting and keeps you really full. I use optimum nutrition 100% casein in creamy vanilla. Its super delicious. You can also just eat nonfat cottage cheese which is an excellent source of casien.
After my workouts, and sometimes before I drink a whey isolate protein. Whey protein is quickly absorbed and ideal for before/after workouts. I drink allmax isoflex whey isolate in the peanut butter chocolate flavor. Its really yummy mixed with soymilk and peanutbutter and maybe a banana too!
If you have a hard time stomaching protein shakes another one I would recommend is BSN lean dessert. It comes in many flavors and its really tasty. I mix the cinnamon roll flavor in with my oatmeal.
That being said haha.. you can get plenty of protein from whole foods. Eggs, greek yogurt (i love chobani), cottage cheese, lowfat/nonfat cheeses, milk, nuts, soy products.. Im a vegetarian. But theres always chicken and fish which is ideal.
Hope this helps!:flowerforyou:0
