There is a great article in Self this month titled, "The Pleasure Diet." It had some great tips about mindful eating and definately promotes slow, healthy weight loss WITHOUT depriving oneself of any food group. Including the chocolate and wine group. LOL

    I JUST read that at the gym this morning! I was searching online when I got to work, because I totally agreed with what they said. I think first impressions might be "this is gimmicky", but really it's no different than a lot of what I've heard - being mindful of how you're feeling, your hunger level, and appreciating what you do put into your body for fuel. Rather than saying "I can't eat that", saying "I don't really want to eat that". Self's website has a blog all about it!
