My husband drives an armored vehicle, so he is stuck sitting all day. Problem is that they stop for luch and take turns getting out to grab food. Usually it is at southern gas stations that fry EVERYTHING. I pack him a healthy lunch, though there are days that he gives in and grabs something else for lunch anyway. I fear I am not packing him enough that is filling. Usually a sandwhich, baked chips and something sweet like pudding. (He has a major sweet tooth) His problem is fat intake, he nearly always goes over on fat. I need some idea's on things to pack in his lunch that are low fat and filling enough to not leave him so hungry he breaks down and grabs deep fried chicken fingers. >.<. I've been doing well in staying under in all my numbers, but he is having a problem staying under fat and protein. Since he works so much, I track everything for him and I feel I am failing when he is left hungry. Any idea's would be appreciated.

There are not many low calorie sweet foods that are filling. However, he might try eating nuts instead of something sweet. Some are high in calories but they are very filling & would keep him from feeding his craving with several different things. Also, peanut butter is filling. You can get it with reduced fat. Hope this helps. Good Luck!

For something sweet that is low in fat, try fruit! An entire watermelon only has about 200 calories in it! Also, they have fruit canned in 100% juice that are just as nutritious
