Exercises not listed ... Need help!

I am going to either a Zumba or Strike class tonight and those types of exercises are not available on MFPs lists of exercises. And I don't know how many calories I burn as I don't have a HRM yet. Also I have ordered 30 day shred and won't know how to log that either. Any suggestions? I know getting a HRM is ideal, but until my budget allows one, what should I do?

Thanks!

try entering it as "aerobic, high impact", other option is to get a hrm and know exactly what you are burning during the class.

i always entered zumba under aerobic dancing until i got my HRM.
  • Just look up dance and pick the one most like your dance class(:

I've been logging 30 day shred as circuit training.
