I was wondering if anyone knows of a device that will work as a gps (log your run and keep track of your pace and distance) as well as a calorie counter for when your doing an in house workout such as a DVD workout???? Does this make sense? Surely there is something!

I use my Garmin 405, I just have to shut the GPS off when doing a DVD workout. I also have to wear my HRM to count the calories. Calories on mine aren't super accurate when the GPS if off, but I get the average HR for the time and input it into a calculator to get my accurate calories.

I have an app on my android phone called Cardio Trainer. It's free (they have a pay one too if you want more features) and it will gps you when you do a variety of activities and log them with time, distance, pace, calories burned. It's pretty cool, I use it for hiking trips and when I go skiing.

I also really like the RunKeeper.com app for iPhone and Android phone. I actually want an android phone JUST for that function.
