Ok..so I've been a d... yankee for almost a year now, and it's been kinda hard adjusting to living in a new place so far away from all things familiar...BUT...today I've discovered a new reason to fall in love with the south....it's June and I have locally grown fresh....tomatoes, green beans, new potatoes (with dirt still on them), watermelon, sweet corn and sweet onion...AND...locally grown and "farmed???" catfish...maybe this "ain't" so bad after all.....oops...I forgot the fresh Mississippi peaches...Y_U_M_M_Y

sad part of this story is that we ate a HUGE Mexican restaurant lunch (grilled veggie fajitas), so all the fresh veggies will have to wait at least until tomorrow...:noway:
