So I've been at this for...oh, a month and a half or so. And I've noticed that the tops of my knees (kinda at the top/behind my kneecap) are slightly achey. I'm not in pain, they don't hurt, they're not sore, just....a slight ache, especially when they are bent (I have a propensity for sitting indian style. Has anyone else experienced this/have any advice?

Yeah, everyday and even more so after I work out. For me its old injuries and old age...
I wouldn't worry too much if its just an ache. Probably just normal muscular soreness.
I would encourage not to sit indian style if that makes it worse. Easier said than done.
But pay attention to your body and if it gets a lot worse you may need to be more careful with your work-outs-i.e- good stretching and making sure you are using good form and keeping your body in good alignment.0 -
Have you nticed any inflamation in your knees? What type of exercises are you doing? I would do some low impact exercises until your knees feel better. Try some Ibuprofen and see if it helps any.0

you sound exactly like me. Been at this about 2 mos now and my knee pain is pretty consitant, running is a struggle i can only go so long and the pain makes me stop. I also have a bad habit of sitting indian style i have no idea why i just ALWAYS have sat that way and its always been comfortble, i dont even realize i do it. i think years of it has ruined my knees. im seeing a doc on thursday to hopefully find out more and start figure out how to make it better.0
