Shredded and sauted with garlic and vidalia onion in a splash of olive oil until everything is a little caramalized.0

I've taken to shredding it with little strips of broccoli and carrots (and sometimes a little cauliflower), then toss it with a little olive oil, sea salt, and pepper. It makes a nice little side dish. I never really liked cabbage before, but if it's shredded you can also hide it in other stuff, even your salad.0

You should be able to find something here:

Just saute in EVOO w/onion, garlic, and salt and pepper to taste.0

You could also make "Lettuce wraps" using cabbage. Stuff the cabbage leaves with your favorite meat (You could use shredded chicken/fajita meat or taco meat, etc.)0

This is more of a main dish: I use grass fed beef
1/2 lb of ground beef
Left over cooked brown rice
tomatoes, cherry, or a few chopped up, can use canned if you don't have fresh
1/2 head of cabbage shredded or more if you want
chopped garlic cloves-
brown beef and garlic together, Add cabbage and tomatoes, cover skillet and simmer until cabbage is soft. Add rice. Season to taste with salt and pepper ( I also season with Spike, all natural seasoning).
Wicked good and lo-cal.0 -
This is low calorie and I think delicious: http://www.eatingwell.com/recipes/asian_slaw_with_tofu_shiitake_mushrooms.html
You don't have to use shiitake--even the cheaper mushroom types will work, and I didn't bother with the wasabi--just used a bit of horseradish instead. Oh, and instead of soy sauce I used worcestershire because it has less sodium and calories. Don't worry about 'silken' tofu, any extra firm tofu will do just fine.0 -

I also have a number of cole slaw recipes on the site as well.

cabbage w/ ginger and cumin....60 calories for 1 cup!0 -
Ive made this beef and cabbage bake but I can not find the recipe. It is like a lasagna. Boil a shredded head of cabbage. Then brown a lb hamburger, onion, garlic and green pepper if you like. Then add a can of diced tomatoes and tomatoe sauce. Or you can just add a can of spaghetti sauce then layer cabbage and beef mixture 3 times. Add mozerella cheese on top. It is so good!0

Love cabbage. You could try it with fennel seed. I steam the cabbage then saute about half a tsp of fennel seeds in a Tbsp of olive oil. Then toss the cabbage in the oil.0

I do something similar in the crock pot using ground turkey and add crushed tomatoes. It's kind of like an un-stuffed cabbage or halushki. Delicious. Hmmmm....i may make some tomorrow...0 -

I do this too, add a little shredded carrot and it is very filling and yummy for low calories!0
