Alright folks, the peanut butter, zone bars, apples, oranges, string cheese, and EAS shakes are getting booooooring. Anyone have ideas useful for snackage high in protein but balanced proportionately?

Hummus, homemade bean dip or refried beans, nuts and seeds, cottage cheese, smoothies, greek yogurt.
  • Popcorn Replacement:

    1 cup multi-bran chex
3 - 5 sprays of that spray butter - toss to coat
    1/2 teaspoon popcorn seasoning.

Ta Da! All the crunch with far fewer calories!

costco sells 'Fage' greek yogurt and also sells a frozen bag of a berry medley (?). high protein & low carb.
deviled eggs - i just made some tonight.
    celery peanut butter.
    almonds
cheese (did you say that already?)
    fruit salad
when i wasn't focusing on carbs, but calories, i bought the 100 calorie english muffins w/soy sausage & a slice of cheese & melt it... it's a good sandwich.

    hope that helps

Unless I'm in a rush I don't prefer "snack" type foods. I just make another meal, but smaller sized portions so that it's around the 200cal mark =)

How about Greek yogurt with some strawberries or honey, very high in protein and super delicious!
  • I'm doin this Greek yogurt! Great idea!
  • These are my new favorite snacks:
Quaker - True Delights Multigrain Fiber Crisp (Blackberry Pomegranate Flavor
Super good. And you can eat alot. Like little rice cakes

Tostitos - Baked Scoops with Salsa
I have always loved chips and salsa. The baked taste the same as the others.
