Almond butter contains about the same number of calories as peanut butter. One tbsp. of almond butter contains 101 calories, while 1 tbsp. of peanut butter contains about 95 calories
Soy butter is a peanut butter alternative created for people who are allergic to peanuts. Soy butter is made with non-genetically modified roasted soybeans. Soy butter contains linoleic acids, which are a form of omega-3 fatty acids. Soy butter is low in carbohydrates at just 6 g per serving. It also meets 8 percent of your daily needs for iron.
If you're looking for a healthy alternative that provides an unexpected taste twist, try tahini. Also known as sesame butter, it contains 89 calories and only 3 g of carbohydrates per tablespoon. Tahini is a winner when it comes to fatty acids, containing more than 7.5 g of fatty acids per tbsp., according to Diet Bites. It also contains 64 mg of calcium and no cholesterol.

Sunflowerseed butter is AMAZING!! I'm pretty sure its vegan too0

Ive had almond butter before
And i believe ive tried soy butter.
They dont taste anything like peanutbutter tho but theyre nice.
And 100 calories per tbsp still too much for my liking since i have a low cal intake.
I found this...
http://www.waldenfarms.com/products/spread_peanut.html
its vegan friendly and no calorie, but its just artifical junk like diet sodas and etc.
I found a mixture of good and bad results. I might try it tho for the sake of it.0 -

Aren't all nut butters vegan as long as they are all natural? For example, my peanut butter's ingredients are peanuts and salt. That's it. I love PB and no other nut butter will suffice when I get a PB craving. Just this morning I had a teaspoon of PB on a slice of multigrain toast. Yum! One teaspoon of the brand I use (Whole Foods 365 brand) is 30 calories and 2 grams of fat which I think is a good deal, nutritionally speaking. One teaspoon is just enough to coat the bread nicely.0

I love my extra crunchy Jif peanut butter and refuse to give it up. I try to stick with half a serving (1 tbs). I find it gives me lots of energy for workouts. You can have it in moderation.0

Peanut butter is vegan. Buy the natural kind, its really healthy! I eat peanut butter every day. If it fits into your daily calories, there's nothing wrong with eating it.0

I usually get Smart Balance PB. I have a Jiff Naturals in my pantry to use next though. I don't eat a ton of it though.
Someone recently mentioned PB2 its basically ground peanuts and you add water. To me though just doesn't sound like it would be good. I'm wondering what that would taste like though.0 -
PB2 from BellPlantation.com!! Amazing stuff.0

I'm addicted to peanut butter too! and i use the PB2, its a powdered peanut butter (because they compress all of the oils out of the peanuts) and you add water to it. 2 tablespoons is only 45 cals!!0
