I am on a wheat free diet as well due to gluten intolerance. What are you having trouble with? Yes, gluten free substitutes are expensive, so I avoid them. I just don't eat bread or bread products. I primarily eat egg whites, RF cheese, lean meats & fish, fruits, vegetables, beans, corn, brown rice and potatoes. There's plenty out there to eat. Here's a typical menu for me:
Breakfast - egg white omelette w/veggies & RF cheese
Mid-morning - Quaker rice cake w/1 Tbsp peanut butter and fruit
Lunch - large salad
Mid-afternoon - brown rice & veggies or vegetarian chili
Dinner - fish or chicken & veggies
Snack - RF ice cream bar0 -
