Hello all
I just joined a week ago and am really enjoying the site! I decided to diet (seriously diet, I should say) once all my work clothes got too tight and I approached a scary 200lbs.
I have boosted my workout regimen and have stocked up on Light n Fit's and Lean Cuisines, and healthy fruits, veggies, fish and chicken. I'm ready to lose!
My boyfriend has also packed on the pounds--and is much more "hard-headed" than I am about what he eats. He insists he isn't--but still comes home from the grocery store with Oreos, Nutter bars, and other unhealthy junk foods. He is going to the gym also, just not as often (I go at lunch from work--we have a fitness center in our building... he goes to a gym a few miles to the house, he works from home). He also tends to get second helpings. I try to encourage smaller helpings and no seconds.. and am cooking healthier and offering more fruits and veggies. It's just frustrating sometimes! Any encouragement is welcomed

HI! I know it's hard. I am such a sweet/junk food eater that I can't even keep it in the house or I tend to eat the whole bag of chip/candy/ice cream or whatever. My husband wants to eat better but doesn't take any of my advice. But I can't really blame him. I've fallen off the wagon many times myself. So I decided if I keep myself on track food-wise and get in my exercise everday, I can encourage him silently by losing my weight the right way. Stay strong!
Feel free to friend me and maybe we can encourage each other. ☺0
