The android app is where it all started for me too! And I've loved it ever since. I love having the ability to track intake anywhere I go, since my phone is always there. And I love that they finally added a bar code scanner. Although, you have to check to make sure things are correct on a fairly regular basis. But good luck to you! I think you'll be around for a while.0 -
I also found this through the Android app! I just started on Sunday (not even dieting, per se, just knew I wanted to make a change and decided to start tracking my food, even though I haven't gone shopping yet for better, healthier foods. Figured there was no excuse to not start tracking immediately!)
It's so easy with the phone, as you have it with you 24/7!0 -
One of my requirements for my new phone was that I could get the MFP app... I'm a MFP addict! And I love my new Droid. :happy:0

You're right. The Android application is a life saver. Really the ONLY excuse to not log food and exercise now is if my phone is dead and I absolutely cannot get access to the internet.
Welcome to MFP by the way0 -
They need to combine the droid app and the iphone app. iphone needs the upc scan ability, and the droid app needs message board and update feeds access.0

Would love to see the forum conversations on my droid.0

Droid is to blame for my presence as well! Love the app and so glad I found this site because of it!!0

I saw a friend post on facebook and looked it up first on my phone.. sure enough I was hooked. Then found the website from that.. lol Love it.0

My boyfriend talked me into getting a droid at the start of the year (he had the HTC Incredible, so I got the same). He has since asked me if I would ever be able to go back to a regular phone, instead of a smart phone, and I tell him if it wasn't for the MFP app I think I could. Since I have been using MFP, though, and seeing such a great progress in myself, there's no way I want to be without it. Having it on-hand at all times, being able to track anything I want at a moment's notice- it's awesome0

Agreed! I have it on the iPod and the Droid, and I definitely like the feeds on the iPod, but was thankful that they implemented the scanner on the droid. I would use calorie counter just to get info before and manually enter it in.My boyfriend talked me into getting a droid at the start of the year (he had the HTC Incredible, so I got the same). I've had a windows mobile phone (not the new one though), a crackberry, and now a droid. For what I use the phone for, I don't think I could ever switch from android. The only thing I REALLY, REALLY miss is crackberry messenger.0 -
I just started MFP last week and also found it via the Android app. I think I searched for "food diary" or something like that and the MFP app popped up. The reviews looked good, so I downloaded it. I absolutely love the app. It looks great and is easy to use.0

I had a Palm before and it was awful with Apps. Now, I am loving my new Android phone a lot more because of the MFP App. I was so happy to find something simple to use and the fact that my workout buddy/ BFF and I can keep it up no matter where we are is priceless...I especially love that when I go out to party/hang out on weekends I can search and see which drink options and how many I can fit in for the night..I used to go out and guess at what I thought was ok to drink/eat now with the App I can know before hand and hopefully start seeing results soon
