Garlic-roasted asparagus

1.5 lb fresh asparagus
2-3 cloves garlic, sliced thin or minced
2 tbsp olive oil
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp ground black pepper

Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Trim the tough ends off the asparagus spears. Place the spears and garlic in 15x10 baking pan. Drizzle with oil, sprinkle with salt and pepper. toss to coat

Roast for 10-15 min or until the asparagus is crisp-tender. Stir once halfway through roasting

Makes 6 servings
